“Though we know death is certain, we have not prepared ourselves for it. Though we know paradise is definite, we have not worked for it. Though we know the hell fire is sure, we have not feared it. So why are you delighted? What are you waiting for? Death is the first visitor from the Almighty bringing good or evil tidings… get closer to your Lord.”4 ~Hamid al-Qasyrasi (rahimahullah)

MELAWAT SEDARA MARA YANG JAUH (baca tajuk ala-ala sin chan)

Perhatian!
Post kali ni ada unsur-unsur politik (sikit je). Read at your own risk.

Time khutbah jumaat, itulah kali pertama aku tengok Imam Melayu (sebelum ni Imam foreigner) baca khutbah langsung tak tengok teks, mata pandang lurus ke depan (lepas tu baru aku tahu, masjid tu rupanya madrasah tahfiz).

Tajuk khutbah pun menarik.

KOREAN DRAMA FAN

Korean drama fan ends up being raped by duo

A KOREAN drama fan was gang-raped after she followed a man she befriended on the Internet to his house to watch a Korean drama series.

Sin Chew Daily reported that the incident took place at about 10pm on Tuesday at a house in Bandar Manjalara, Kuala Lumpur.

She met the man for the first time on Tuesday and he persuaded her to follow him home to watch a new Korean drama series he had just bought.

She was left alone to watch the drama in a room. A few moments later, the man suddenly entered and raped her. When he was through, his housemate then raped her.

Police are looking for both men. ~star

SERVIS KERETA

Semasa memandu hari ni, aku terpandang kat meter mileage kereta.

Cerita pasal pengalaman, ada sekali aku nak buat first servis kereta aku. Aku tak puas hati sebab aku dapat kereta tu memang steering dia lari ke kiri. Aku pun pelik, kereta baru keluar kedai tapi steering dah tak betul. Masa nak buat servis, aku complain la pasal masalah tu. Workshop tu cakap boleh buat tapi aku kena bayar.

Aku tanya balik kenapa kena bayar, kereta tu tak sampai sebulan lagi, patutnya dalam warranty lagi. Lepas tu dok tuduh aku lenjan kereta tu sampai steering lari. Aku bawak kereta tu bawah 80KM/J je. Manual dah kata kereta baru kalau bawah 1000 KM mileage jangan bawak lebih dari 80KM/J, enjin cepat rosak kalau buat. Bila manger dia keluar dan backup kerani dia, aku terus blah, buang masa je duduk situ lama-lama.

Ada satu workshop yang aku paling suka. Workshp ni kat JB (dah lupa area mana).

Tpi bila customer tak puas hati sama macam aku, kira tu the first and the last la aku pergi dan siap cakap pada kawan-kawan lagi "jangan pergi workshop tu, servis macam !@#$%&*".

THE LITTLE PEOPLE

When I was little (back in the mid 80's) I used to stand in front of the mirror and I always wonder if there is another world, another realm out there inside the mirror, the realm of reflection. I used to stare for a few minutes at the mirror not looking at myself but what is behind my reflection. Fortunately the mirror was position in front of the window so its capture the landscape outside the window. I stare and I stare, hardly looking for a sign of life in the mirror's realm, and never get lucky, not until one day.

One day, I looked so hard into the mirror as if i was looking through it when suddenly I saw little people on the branch of the asam renda tree. (I don't know if this plant still exist today) because there was no more around my house when i return a few years back after graduate and all. The asam renda tree was tall because it reach the second floor of our kampung house which is built on a tiang, back then, now we get rid of the stairs and all on the ground because when you are old, stair doesn't really complimentary.

Back to the little people. As I looked harder to make sure i wasn't imagining thing, then i quckly turn to the real world expecting the same thing but to my disappointment it wasn't there in the real world. I turn back to the mirror and look again to make sure but easily, the little man was there walking carefully through the leaves and thorn on along the branch toward the end of the branch. The end of the branch leads to the gajus tree which is higher that eventually will end up on the roof.

Before the little man gone out of sight I turn around to the real world hoping to get at least a glimpse of this little man to make sure I'm not dreaming, but sadly it wasn't there as reflected by the mirror. I turn back to the mirror and start yelling at that man hoping he would hear me, 'Hey, heyyy!', but he isn't, he is in total ignorance and continue making his way through the leaves and thorns until the very edge of the mirror and eventually out of sight. And that was the first and the last of it.

I made all this up to tell the kids tomorrow.
