“Though we know death is certain, we have not prepared ourselves for it. Though we know paradise is definite, we have not worked for it. Though we know the hell fire is sure, we have not feared it. So why are you delighted? What are you waiting for? Death is the first visitor from the Almighty bringing good or evil tidings… get closer to your Lord.”4 ~Hamid al-Qasyrasi (rahimahullah)

Four boys going to school one morning saw a small UFO and tiny 6-inch tall creatures. One small burnt patch on the ground was found. The UFO was gone.

An attempt to catch them failed. No saucer was sighted.

Nenek jual karipap

"You should follow us to Ipoh to eat Arabic rice," kata Hanim menegur Maria. "Salah tu," tambahnya lagi.

Hanim menundukkan kepalanya semula menghadap buku.

"Dik, dik, nak beli karipap tak?"

Hanim terpanggung semula apabila mendengar suara serak itu.  Seorang nenek berselendang putih menutupi rambutnya, berbaju kurung Kedah berwarna putih bercorak bunga melur mengendeng bakul plastik merah empat segi sedang berdiri di luar tingkapnya.

"Eh tak pe lah nek dah kenyang ni," balas Hanim tersenyum.

"Tanyalah kawan-kawan kut-kut ada yang mahu." Balas nenek itu lagi.

"Eh diorang semua dah tidur nenek, terima kasih je lah ye," balas Hanim.

" Kalau macam tu tak pe lah dik," seraya nenek itu berpusing mahu berlalu pergi, tapi dia berhenti dan menambah, "You should come with us to Ipoh to eat the Arabic cuisine there. Ayat ni lebih baik."

"Erk ye ye.

.
.
.

"Eh, aku kan kat tingkat tiga, nenek tadi berdiri atas apa pula, mana ada corridor depan tingkap aku?"

Hanim terdiam.
