its war

Indochine: a people's war

Is america and french at cold war? Lately there've been abundance of anti french broadcasts made by the usa belittling the french.

"The french didn't build us schools nor hospitals, they only build brothels and clubs, everything we have they razed to the ground." Said the presenter with a distraught tone.

The struggle of the vietnamese people against french occupation has been revered by the usa's natgeo as the people's war, reminiscing the french brutality for 55 minutes and the remaining 5 minutes to mention the coming of the American with forgiveness to the American from the vietnamese at the end.

It's ironic.

At the same time usa intrusion in various Muslims countries are honored, their war machines are applaud as heroes with tv shows such as coming home, battlefield brothers and natgeo heroes series.

One of natgeo programs aired an interview with an American war machine who proudly reminisced how he murdered Muslims afghans shepherds taking their flocks home just because one of them is carrying an AK47. With their drone they bombed the afghans to nothingness... on afghan soil... along with the sheeps.

For me only those who fought in the www2 and wars before that are heroes (both sides) due to the balance of power and technology both sides have, it's a fair game.

Todays war is not just a cakewalk but more of a bully, only those who are in the defensive are heroes, the afghan, the iraqi, the Palestina.

An American might, teaming up with the mighty Britain bringing all their superweapon and advanced technology to beat a helpless poor unstable country, not very much of a hero.

Adding the last straw, before they entered battle they strip down the opponent country of their weapons and starved them down with economic barradicade.

It's downright shame. Before you judge other make sure you meet the requirements.

Letter of recognition 1997

It was 1997, CSI was hot on TV (still today?).

We're at the pinnacle of our life.

One afternoon, we're all bored. So out of nothing, I came out with an idea. Lets make all girls in our class recognize our good-lookingness.

My buddy on the left agreed profusely.

"So how's we gonna do this?"

"We gonna make them sign it," said I with a grin on my face.

He grinned with me and pulled out a piece of paper and lay it on the desk.

"So here's what we gonna do, we gonna left the upper half blank and ask them to sign on the lower half.

After we get everybody. We gonna write this on the blank side.

"Hereby we confirm and attest that all boys in 5 AR 1997 are the most handsome men of all time.

Yours faithfully,"

"I like it, I like it a lot," Said my buddy and a few other who started to join the fray.

So he took that piece of paper and about to pass it to next girl when he turned and said,

"But what if the ask what is it for?"

"Say we're a holding a signature contest,"

So he pass the paper to the girl at the back of the class with the message.

We the boys gathered at the corner enjoying the look on their faces while signing, trying to give their best to win.

We almost got everybody when the paper finally reached the girls sitting behind us.

"They're playing with U, don't bother," said them spilling the beans.

Apparently, they've overheard us.

And like automation they reverse the process, passing back around and each started 'liquiding' (erasing with liquid paper) their own signature up to the first one and to add the cream, returned the blank paper back to us as we watch everything fall apart helplessly.

Just let it go and move on

I begin with a story.

A senior monk and a junior monk were traveling together. At one point, they came to a river with a strong current. As the monks were preparing to cross the river, they saw a very young and beautiful woman also attempting to cross. The young woman asked if they could help her.

The senior monk carried this woman on his shoulder, forded the river and let her down on the other bank. The junior monk was very upset, but said nothing.

They both were walking and senior monk noticed that his junior was suddenly silent and enquired “Is something the matter, you seem very upset?”

The junior monk replied, “As monks, we are not permitted a woman, how could you then carry that woman on your shoulders?”

The senior monk replied, “I left the woman a long time ago at the bank, however, you seem to be carrying her still.”

Day before yesterday we had a sporting event.

Each of us we given a specific task to smooth things out.

Some did well some don't (the truth is some did perfectly some didn't everybody did their job).

I was in charge of emergency tasket.

I myself encountered some blocking on the way that I miraculously walk out of.. thanks to 'adaptability' and 'thinking out side of the box' skills, I managed.

And everything went well even though not perfectly.

But the overall event run smoothly with no major screw up.

Those who 'not did well'.

The truth is its only in ones head that  he thought may be people are talking about his imperfect work thus leads to a lemony day.

Today some of us don't even smile.

In reality nobody cares, everybody have their own problems to think about and you're not the center of the universe.

If u have negative thought about yourself and others u become toxic and generate negative energy and started intoxicating others around u.

the cure is just smile and laugh about it. Let it go. The way to happiness is the ability to forgive and forget.

Kancil or pig

U see this kancil used to park infront of my house and my neighbor's for a couple of years now.

This idiot surprisingly live in house number 2.

U see house no 1 is opposite of mine, and there is another house beside his and then there is where this idiot live.

Can U see how far this idiot house from ours?

It doesn't seem that this idiot has problems with space. He has two cars parked inside, and free space infront of his house. His neighbor on the left have two cars and his neighbor on the right only has one pickup.

After a confrontation, this idiot only parked on work days in the morning only however this only took effect for a couple of weeks or so before he revert back to his unethical habit.

After talk failed we act.

We tried a different approach, at dawn we parked outside on that spot to stop that idiot from parking there, for a week, it took effect for three weeks afterward before that idiot revert back again to his old unethical habit.

So what's the problem?

Uneducated, even though he works in academic field, I'm sure his one of those who work in academic field yet claimed academic is of little importance to cover one own impotency, Its academic written all over, academician, academically, monthly test, twice a year test, UPSR test, all academic based, ya know what i meant.

Reported by Muslim the prophet SAW said:

'Those whose his neighbor does not feel safe from his evil doing will not enter Paradise'.

My Neighbour Totoro

I'm feeling down this month, I've been ripped off for $300 ( burn in hell who ever took it), worst month of the year so far.

So I went to a friend house to talk about it (Talking about a problem helps a lot). I've not seen him for a while since he's married a couple of years ago.

To my surprise the problem I'm facing is nothing compared to his (see what I mean talk is cure). So I decided to help him with my writing (I knew my skill one day will comes handy).

He have a problem with his uncivilized neighbour. I took the liberty to take some proof (it is suggested that you should documented any problem U have so that U have proof in case U need to take the matter to court), these are some pictures showing the problem.

Some what two years ago  when the neighbour finished remodelling their house, adding an additional structure to its original frame they left my friend a gift.

A pile of rubble was left in the no man's land leaning to his fence whereas he had nothing to do or to gain from it and it was left there until today for almost two years now.

This is the house, the house is mesmerizing but doesn't reflect the occupants, take note, civilized-looking house doesn't mean civilized people living in it.

Many suggested confronting the neighbour is a good way to solve the problem, but two years is a long time to not realize one's own disruptive behaviour. Why turn a blind eye and took no responsibility if U are educated and civilized. Two years is unwarranted.

Don't believe me U can go and see for yourself until today that pile of rubble is still there. (I took these pictures yesterday).

I'M BACK - Quote of the year

Me and some friends were at the movie back in 2010 about to watch the last air bender (regretfully) when I saw the expendables poster.

Don't have the stomach to watch that movie at that time.

Until just now saw a promo on TV, I'M BACK! suddenlly the urge starts kicking in.

Best part of the movie :)

Tupai Kuat Gajah Duduk Sos Cili Cap Arnab

Strange product names

I walked into a convenient store last week to buy a top up card when I noticed a local libido enhancement product (in a form of ma'jun or coffee I'm not sure) called tupai kuat (strong squirrel).

Yes I was perplexed as much as you, does this product contains squirrel product or have anything to do with squirrel at all? Based on the picture, appears not, its a herbal product.

There are a few strange products name out there beside this one such as sitting elephant's sarung and sos cili cap arnab (rabbit brand ketchup) which of course has nothing to do with rabbit at all, never heard rabbits eat chilies before and nor elephant wear sarung or made of elephant hide, btw I wear this brand.

Somewhat 10 years ago when I first heard of sos chili cap arnab I myself want to come up with my own ketchup brand, sos cili cap racun tikus, yeah weird product names attract attention maybe people will buy and love it.

I have look up a piece of land (tanah lot) for sale may be suitable to plant papaya for my ketchup but turn it down later for sawit which I've yet put the plan into motion but i did bought something else which by dec U'll see another ads on my side bar.

Syura made it to the final

Yes Syura made it to the final. (I'm talking about Masterchef)

I was in my secondary school when Syura first appeared together with Nana.

That was the era that they nicked named every new comer as Siti's clone.

This due to the fact that the mushrooming new comer in the singing industry seems to have voice identical to the newly discovered Siti Nurhaliza.

Siti rocketed to fame after winning bintang RTM.

Thus those who came after her had to brave the hard way.

And there Syura was with Nana singing that out of tune Bakawali.

Hijab accentuated her beauty.

Back then she doesn't wore one so nobody barely noticed her, sunk between the other Rachel's hairstyle of the 90's.

Her character made an impact in my life because that was the last day of my school years, best year of my life.

(tears started to well up)

All my money will be on her (not literally), hopes  she'll win masterChef 2 tonight.

Back to Siti, yes there was many clones of her's back then.

Note 2 charger cable Sucks not

I've been using galaxy note 2 for 7 months now. I bought it from DiGi store together with DiGi broadband, 8 Mpbs for RM88 (with RM2 hidden charge that total to RM90 per month, ah u know this blood sucker).

The only drawback that pisses me off until today is the charger capability or the cable. It takes too much times -most of the time- almost a day of charging to fully charged the battery even with power off..

After some twist and turn I found out I need to set the cable into a loop in order to maximize the charging rate, however it doesn't usually took affect, sadly.

I love to travel, I travel whenever I have the chance and I used the trusted waze to navigate my way around since I prefered driving my own vehicle.

Waze is a reliable navigation application however it needs both the internet and GPS to be turned on in order to work.

So U might guessed how much power it ate up per trip, and those who owned note 2 are very much familiar with its internet drains battery reputation.

But it will not be an issue if its rechargeable rate matches the excellence of nokia. Any note 2 user who has resolve the problem please help.

I choose MAS

I watched the apprentice asia with interest. The apprentice has long been my favourite tv show since I was a student.

Back to the episode.

Trump would have fired someone or two from both teams because both had lost the task of not making any profit.

Among other things.

Tony did mentioned ethic is very important in business (after finding out that Alex cheated a customer by claiming he's a  french chef)... that's really reflect airasia as a whole, ETHIC, that was why they'd denied boarding of a mother and her baby after suspecting her baby of chicken pox with confirmation from a girl clad in nurse outfit, hurmmm.

I fly twice a year, before this I'd choose airasia any time until I found out MAS is better, way better. Beside the food their hospitality is highly laudable.

Back in 2010, we were stranded at KK's airport because of heavy rain, missed our flight to KL and our next flight to Penang (suppose to fly at 6 and fly to Penang at 10). Eventually we made out of KK at 11. As soon as we alighted at KLIA, we were greeted by MAS staff, our flight we rescheduled to tomorrow morning and we were taken to Holiday Inn for the night all paid for.

After that experience I always choose MAS over Airasia eventhough I have to pay RM100 extra.

Long live MAS!

Mr. know it all

I found out there are two kinds of people in this world.

The know-how and the know-it-all. The know-how is the one who got the required knowledge and the know-it-all is someone who gives the impression of knowing everything yet exactly the opposite.

When I was a student I owned a PC, like many other students I used it mostly to play games and watch movies and of course for its secondary usage, to finish my assignments. (back in those days we doesn't have broadband yet, and there're no hot spot in our campus, so we don't surf much because it cost money, we need to go to the cybercafe to surf the internet.)

So sometimes I have problem with it. In my early days before I know a thing or two about computering, I sought help from others and this is where I met such a people, mostly the know-it-all kind.

The know-how will quickly point out the problem and propose a solution.

But the know-it-all, instead of replying the issue being raise they will end up feeding unnecessary information about it and tend to jump from one topic to another haphazardly but still within the scope, shooting blindly hoping that a random bullet would hit something like Steven Seagal in all of his movies.

For example, why does my computer screen turn blue and made a tut tut tut sound after I installed a new motherboard?

The know-it-all kind answered,

have u checked your CPU, your fan, your ATX power connecter, your DRAM memory slot, your IDE connector, your northbridge, your AGP slot, your southbridge, your PCI slot, your CMOS backup battery, your connectors for integrated peripherals so on and so forth all the way to the land of bullshits, lots of it.

The know-how hits the nail, its your graphic card, tighten it up. Problem solved.

So here's a profile I pull out of my nostril to identify Mr. know-it-all,

The person usually just discovered or bought something unprecedented into his life and just by being disclosed for some time or by reading the manual he already thinks he's and expert of the subject, for example;

1. just bought an iPad and suddenly thinks he's Steve job.

2. just joined a group with religious image and suddenly thinks he's a cleric that can issue decree.

3. A 16 years old whose parents taking a course to go to hajj suddenly became an expert of hajj as if he's working with tabung haji.

Ah you get the idea.

The thief fell prey to 'the fence'

I beat the police, I have unravel the mysterious untimely death of the car thief, here's some fact I deduced from my keen observation.

Its kinda eerie nowadays but back in those days it is commonplace for such a thing.

It is called pagar, literally means fence, technically means erecting fence around something with magic (either white or black), usually valuables. The magic was cast by chanting some spell on the object one wish to leave for a while.

Some famous practice involving fencing are fencing one's house, estate, orchard from thievery by burying something in the four corner of the property, fencing self or someone from black magic with some practice or ritual and lastly fencing valuables left behind to attend something.

It is well known that fencing in some way fatal, like what had happened, the thief took the money and try to flee alas in a few steps he collapsed and died abruptly. There were other account I have heard somewhere, there was a thief who tried to enter one's house he found himself later drowning in an imaginary sea.

In this case, I think it comes from the bag not the car, since nothing happened when he drove the car away, but as soon as he tried to flee with the bag he collapsed and died.

Fence beats alarm anytime, and this shall be a lesson to all not to mess with someone else thing.

Thief dies untimely after taking car with child inside

Thief dies after taking car with child inside

KUALA LUMPUR: In a freakish turn of events, a thief drove off a car with a seven-year-old boy inside only to die several kilometres away from the crime scene in Setapak here.

The boy was safely reunited with his family after passers-by, who noticed him crying alone in the vehicle, contacted his father.

It is believed that during the 7am incident, the boy’s mother – a teacher in her 30s – was sending her two younger daughters to a childcare centre in Taman Melati.

The mother was accompanying her daughters into the centre when the thief stole the car.

“She left the boy in the car with the engine running when the thief got into the vehicle and drove it away,” said City police CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah.

It is understood that the thief panicked because the boy was crying continuously.

He then pulled over and fled on foot with a bag, containing an undisclosed amount of cash belonging to the mother.

However, after taking a few steps, he collapsed and died.

Police later found his body on a road in Taman Setapak Indah, some 100m from the abandoned car.

ACP Ku said the body of the suspect, who had several drug-related crime records, was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a post-mortem. ~the star

Eating Booger

Gross is not funny.

I never missed the Cleveland show because the show is  hilarious. I've been following the show since the day they move out of Quahog back to Virginia.

Except tonight. Tonight's episode is about Ralo getting off his habit of eating booger...... and something about Cleveland and coffee.

Booger is a piece of dried mucus in our nose. tahi hidung.

Half of tonight show portrays Ralo playing with booger or mucus. It start with Ralo picking his nose, acquired a booger, role it up and throw it into his mouth, after sometimes swallowing it, and then another guys doing the same thing, and then he was on his bed about to eat his booger when Junior caught him, and then in the toilet where he stashed his booger under the sink, he was about to retrieve it and put it in his mouth when Juniour stopped him, and then he sing a song while playing with his green mucus and then I turned off the tv cursing.

Since when playing with feces is considered funny and how can some people even think that poops would brighten our lives.

I remembered once, when I was at Ralo's age. I got scolded for doing what he did. yeah It was in Sg Petani, one sunny day,  I was on the sofa answering something to my aunt, at the same time playing with my mucus, she scolded me for that, I didn't remember what day and date it was but it was in the early 80's.

Case study,

Austin Power for some reason is making a hot cocoa in a lab where the scientist there is processing a pot of poop to recover evidence, Austin mistakenly add that poop to his cup instead of the cocoa which is boiling beside the pot of poop.

Is that funny?

The accident is, but not the poop.

The girl that changed my life

I'm a hermit, an anti social who values my solitary a lot, I don't go out and mix with my neighbors  much. I never smile to anyone unless I was force to, which means smiled upon first. But I did returned the wave and smile if I get caught off guard. Its not that I'm rude It's just that I was born like that.

There is one non-Malay family living on my street who has a one and half year old daughter. small, thin, innocent looking, more to her mother and pure at heart-the most distinctive trait of all.

Every evening when I got home from work, my routine were to drove passed everybody outside my house (usually kids playing, neighbors taking their evening walk or walking their kids).

I have become accustomed to pretend to ignore everybody around me, albeit they're 3, 4 risky processes that requires me to be out in the open before I managed to lock myself safely inside the house. I carefully planed and regularly practices this routine so that I will not get caught, so I hope.

Let me walk you, first, I have to drive through the crowded street (the risk emerged when I didn't tinted my window dark enough), second, I have to get out of the car to open the gate, third, I have to reverse park and then again got out of my car and close the gate, lastly I have to risk minutes in the open to take care of the lock at the door before I can let myself in safely from those viciously friendly neighbors.

I went about this for three years full until this girl learned to walk!

...and then a new chapter of my life open itself before me.

Every evening, her mother took her out for a stroll or taught her to ride a tricycle, now to drive a car   -paddle car that is. (Despite the news, I observe everything secretly from my tinted window so that I wouldn't miss anything around me, that's how I catches up.)

The first meeting was when i was closing the gate last year, with a cute blank face of no emotion, she waved at me, she was standing by her tricycle and caught me by surprise, I startled and force to wave back in amazement, her mother chuckled to herself for she knew my hermithood nature.

After that incident its almost like automation when she saw me or even my car (its one of the miracle of memory -how could she at that age possibly recognized what car I drove) she definitely will raise her small hand and gave an emotionless face, and I, like hypnotized, would wave back startled.

After a few strings of incident, my life changed, I say hi to her mother, and even make a conversation, asking how old is her daughter, I smile whenever i see my other neighbors and we talk a little about subjects that we already knew about, (once I taught it was stupid to do so) like,

"hey, going to work?" said I to my neighbor Yazid who is obviously going to work.

"shopping?" when my other neighbor got back from somewhere carrying a lot of groceries.

"Its going to rain yea?" pointing out to the obviously marching gray sky.

"It's really hot today", on an obvious cloudless day with scorching sun proudly ruling the sky.

"new car?" to a neighbor who just jumped out from a shinny car with a new registration number that ends with a 'T'.

And then I finally realized the beauty of it all, obvious question makes the world go round.

This girl has changed my life.

Affin's ATM Lagging Cost Money to Customer

Salam to all,

I visit Affin Bank cash deposit machine every 26th, 25th, 27th, 30th, 31st, 29th or 28th. to pay my car loan.

usually I went to withdraw some cash first at BSN, unfortunately on that day, the ATM ran dry.

So I thought I would use the meps service at Affin to save up some time, after all meps only charged RM1 per withdrawal.

There are two customers at Affin paying at the CDM, as I about to approach the ATM one of the customer greeted me.

"Are U a card holder?'

"Nope I'm using the meps."

"I suggest U better not."

"And why shouldn't I?"

"This happened to me last month, I try to withdraw some money using AFFIN ATM but the machine severely lagging at a snail with broken leg pace,

after I keyed in what was needed to be keyed, the machine seem to be taking more time than a normal ATM machine would, as if U are entering a government website set up by RM2 crony's company, if u know what i'm saying ( I dig u very much I'm a teacher an accustomed to PBS),

when finally the machine vomited out my card and the screen turn to advertisement,  but to my dismay there weren't any cash coming out,

so I waited for a while until i was convinced that the machine had actually cancelled the process, so I thought,

Than i took off and went to Maybank, as I was withdrawing the money, only then I noticed an amount missing equal to the amount I keyed in at Affin, so I rush back here but there's no cash or person to be found sadly."

After hearing that I shied away quickly to maybank with a thank you to that good samaritan and wish his luck would be better in the future.

There are lessons to be learned here,

if u do something do it perfectly so that it will not victimised others, in this case who ever set up the machine,

in my case I remembered once that I had wronged an innocent man, I only noticed it after the payment has been released and the boy literally vanished.

Wherever U are, hear me out, I'm sorry I'll make it up to you one day and if not may ALLAH the self-sufficient bless U one way or another for ALLAH is Ghaniyu.

Secondly, don't bank at Affin.

Female doctor is actually a guy

Female doctor is actually a guy

Double identity: Supt Soh showing a photo of the man who posed as a female doctor in Malacca.
MALACCA: With his soft and feminine features, the petite figure comes across as a prim and proper female medical doctor.

Always clad in a baju kurung and headscarf, “Dr Ika” the name the doctor used managed to con several private clinics here with fake certificates and had himself hired as a locum at RM45 an hour.

He was actually a jobless man who did not even finish his nursing course in two institutions in Selangor and Johor.

Said to have given “extra attention and tender loving care'' to male patients, his cover was recently exposed when he supposedly called a male patient on his handphone after hours.

The patient's wife found out and complained to the clinic last Monday and internal investigations followed before the police were alerted.

Malacca commercial crimes chief Supt Soh Hock Sing said a special team was set up to observe and gather information before an undercover operation was mounted.

“We decided to act fast as it involved patients' lives. So, one of our officers posed as a patient seeking medical treatment at the clinic. The man behaved like a real woman doctor and examined the officer. He even prescribed some medicine,” he said yesterday.

The team raided the clinic and questioned the “doctor” before arresting him at 6pm on Thursday.

Initial investigations showed that the 26-year-old from Sabah, who lived in Ampang, was also a dropout from an engineering course in an institution in Sabah.

“We believe he used the same trick in Perak and Pahang before coming to Malacca in January,” Supt Soh said.

“Patients who think that they had been given prescriptions by this fake doctor are advised to stop taking them,” he said, adding that clinics hiring locums should be more careful with their background checks in the future.

**I remember a friend of mine who at first I mistaken her for a guy.  It is because of her masculine name and antic. It has been a year now. Wherever U are I wish U the best of everything. Peace.

Pal sold girlfriend to pimp

Woman sold into prostitution after reunion with long-lost pal ~the star

A WOMAN ended up being “sold” into prostitution for RM3,000 after a reunion with an old friend, reported Harian Metro.

The victim was also beaten, confined and forced into the flesh trade by the syndicate for almost a week before she escaped last Sunday.

The woman's trauma started on April 11 in a shoplot in Kepong when she met up with her friend who she had not seen in years. The friend brought along her boyfriend to the premises.

Another man in his 30s, who turned out to be a pimp, appeared later and prevented her from leaving.

She was then told that she had been sold by her friend. She was confined in the premises with 10 other women said to be Chinese and Vietnamese nationals who were apparently also forced into prostitution.

The next day, the victim was paraded in sexy outfits together with the other women to customers. She ended up sleeping with a man who paid RM1,680.

“Nobody was around in the premises and I managed to unlock the door using a pair of scissors,” she said after lodging a police report.

Anti-PAS ads appear in newspapers in Sabah

GE13: Anti-PAS ads appear in newspapers ~the star

KOTA KINABALU: Advertisements have appeared in several vernacular newspapers in Sabah warning the people that they should not vote for PAS candidates in the general election.

The advertisements showed a photograph of a woman, with one showing her in full make-up and manicured fingernails with the caption: “Now your life is wonderful.”

A second one showed the same woman without her make-up, with the caption saying: “This is what happens when PAS is in power.”

Another series of advertisements showed a photograph of a female hairdresser cutting a male customer's hair. Both are smiling. The other photograph showed the same customer's hair being cut by a male hairdresser and both are frowning.

The advertisements had appeared in Asia Times, Overseas Chinese Daily News and See Hua Daily for the past several days.

Sabah PAS officials said the advertisements were meant to scare PAS supporters in Sabah.

Liberal Democratic Party president Datuk V.K. Liew denied that the advertisements had been placed by the Barisan Nasional.

***Ooo Kkk let's make one thing clear, PAS is not Islam and Islam is not PAS, PAS is just a mere political party carrying Islam name as its emblem, so there will be no Islamophobia involve I hope. Now I know why there some quarters who oppose the name Islam been carried by any group so that Islam will not be victimized later. Understood, understood.

The charge under Section 376 of the Penal Code carries a maximum of 20 years' jail and whipping on conviction.

Deputy public prosecutor Kamalia Yahdi offered bail at RM40,000 with two sureties and Prakash need to report at the nearest police station first week each month.

In asking for a lower bail, Prakash who was unrepresented said that his wife was not working and is supporting his only child.

Sessions Judge Norhayati Mohd Yunus granted bail at RM25,000 with two sureties and ordered him to report at the nearest police station first week each month pending mention on May 6.

Meanwhile in Petaling Jaya Sessions Court, Prakash also pleaded not guilty to committing robbery of RM300 and a handphone by using a knife infront of The Curve at Jalan Persiaran Surian, Damansara here at about 6pm on March 11.

Sessions Judge Yasmin Abdul Razak later allowed bail at RM8,000.

In another Sessions Court, scrap metal collector R. Muthu, 46, and car wash worker A.P. Joseph Aaron, 26, also claimed trial to robbing the American woman.

Sessions Judge Rozina Ayob granted bail at RM5,000 each.

In a Magistrate's court, magistrate Surya Wati Shawal granted bail at RM5,000 each for the trio after they pleaded not guilty to kidnapping.

The three courts have fixed May 16 for mention.

***How unlucky people could be at a time. OK students how much money Prakash has to come up with? Plus, how many crime that he (allegedly) committed? And how many courts he has to attend? and how much time that he has wasted that day alone?

Designer hits the jackpot with RM18.8mil win

Designer hits the jackpot with RM18.8mil win ~the star

PETALING JAYA: A freelance creative designer in his 30s won RM18.8mil when he hit the Toto 4D Jackpot 1.

The winner who hit the jackpot on Saturday, April 13 said that he could easily conjure up lucky numbers.

His winning pair of numbers “6471 and 1844” was the result of him combining his birth date and digits related to his work and the prevailing jackpot sum combined with this address respectively.

“I can now take life easier,” said the man.

He placed his winning bet during a visit to his parents’ home in Johor. He had been winning moderate sums since early this year and only bet on the jackpot winning numbers twice.

Asked what he would get for his wife who was by his side at the Sports Toto head office for the prize claim, he said it would be a surprise but his wife was quick to add that she wanted nothing from him.

She would be contented that their pre-school son is now a millionaire by virtue of his father’s win.

Salesman denies raping teenage FB friend

KUALA LUMPUR: A salesman was charged with raping a teenager he came to know through Facebook.

Khoo Kean Giap, 20, claimed trial to raping the 13-year-old girl at a unit at Widuri Condo, Desa Petaling, in Cheras at about 8pm in October 2012.

When questioned by Sessions Court judge Emelia Kaswati Mohamad Khalid, Khoo said he had known the teenager for about two months.

He testified that although he knew her mobile phone number, he had not contacted her since last December.

DPP Ooi Chean Ling said if Khoo was released on bail, he could make an attempt to contact or influence the girl through the social networking site.

The judge allowed bail at RM10,000 with one surety, and ordered that Khoo surrender his international passport.

She also directed him not to contact the victim.

“If she reports that you or any of your family members contact or harass her, your bail will be revoked,” she said.

The judge fixed May 9 for mention. ~the star

Nue à Malacca

‘Mannequin’ turns out to be nude French woman

MALACCA: A woman walked in the nude along Jalan Bendahara to the bemusement of those attending a function there.

“Initially, I thought it was a mannequin. When we realised ‘it’ was a woman, we just looked away,” said Kampung Chitty Cultural Association chairman K. Nadarajah, slightly red-faced.

The woman, believed to be French, in her 30s, definitely disrupted the opening of the Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry information centre yesterday morning.

Nadarajah said someone ran to the woman and gave her the flag of a political party to cover her body but she declined.

“The awkward situation brought the event to a brief halt,” he said.

Trader Terrence Teng, 31, said he was stunned to see the woman walking about so calmly.

“It was a real shock to see someone in the nude like this in conservative Malacca,” he said.

Security guard P. Saravanan, 39, said he reprimanded the wo- man but she was nonchalant about it.

“She only replied ‘I am going naked to save the world. I am a naturist’ and she continued walking,” he said.

Saravanan said he called the police, who came and took her away. ~the star

Looked away? yeah right..

How to set up a Sharp Aquos with Astro

Am I the only one having difficulties connecting asstro to an LED tv?

My 2 years old JVC TV broke down suddenly today, so I bought a new one.

I went to giant and had my eyes on a 32" one of the sharp line worth RM8++ , the cheapest one among the branded on display.

Unfortunately, it is out of stock, so I went to next best thing, a 32" Aquos from the same line.

As we got home, I was very excited and start unwrapping and begun setting it up immediately, and again unfortunately, it won't work with asstro, it doesn't display any pictures except that thousand dots.

So I connected it to a plain AV antenna and manage to receive one channel only, TV3. (That is why in rural area asstro is a necessity because normal antenna could only captures weak signal, if we get TV1 that's a blessing because we got two channel to enjoy!).

Frustrated I called asstro but unfortunately again to no avail, the nice lady with asstro said they can only do their part but not the TV, and she is right.

So as I wonder what went wrong, my fingers keep pressing the remote scouring for solution and to my delight I noticed the input button.

Finally I came to a solution, u have to set the input manually as the TV have no clue which holes she's been poked.

And afterwards everything is back to normal... and we shut it down and went to sleep.

A little recap:
1. connect the cable as usual, red to red, white to white and yellow to yellow.
2. And then use the input button on the remote to determine which input should the TV be directed to.

Sincerely, I hope this article might save some people 's times.

My barber rides a Honda

I went to my barber last weekend and I noticed that he rides motor cycle now.

He used to take the bus to work for all his live.

So I asked him why now?

He said he couldn't afford the fare anymore and found out that riding is more economical.

I found out that's oddly quaint.

I always watch max out, a TV series about financial management, in each episode a financial advisor will help a family to repay their debts and eventually avoid bankruptcy.

In one episode  the adivisor advises the advisee to get rid of her car and start using the public transport because it is cheaper in cost. got that?

While in this country things turn to go the other way round, where people avoid public transport and opt for the more economical motorcycle.

The chat ends when my hair is done, and I come to a conclusion on the matter.

Some party gone frenzy demanding for cheaper fuel without realizing he only owns a 1990's proton, while Nazri Aziz's son drive a RM500k hummer.

If the price of fuel's goes down, those rich people's son and daughter will benefit the most and us the less fortunate will get only peanuts. Think about it.

Instead we should ask for better public transportation, more subsidies for the fuel, tolls and everything related to it. Because this is truly the wheel the poor.

Today, some bus hike their fare due to the hike in fuel price, others make it less frequent to cut the cost thus make it less reliable.

If more subsidies were to be poured into transportation services. the irregularities may be avoided.

Therefor we are the one who will benefit the most together with those humble rich people who is willing to take the bus to work.

Jo or Puteri commented in one of my post. In developed countries most of its citizen doesn't even know how to drive due to effectiveness of their public transportation.

Hence Malaysia on its way to the year 2020 should start improving their public transportation in other word make it as affordable as possible so that our neighbors become more jealous of us OR else I might start a tut tut business here in Malaysia.

More guns, less crime?

Put more guns on the street to stop guns related crime? That's thoughtful. Sometimes smart people too do silly things.

Ambank Pasaraya, a series of unfortunate events

I lost my road-tax.

Since I took ambank insurance, I returned to ambank for help, at bandar pasaraya around 11.20 on 1st March 2013 to prey for information, talked to one of the staff at the table nearest to the main door and it turn out to be another heart broken trip there.

The staff is rude and clueless, she won't even make eye contact not to mention a smile.

My first heart broken trip there was last year, asking to change my phone number associated with my credit card, but the staff, at the table next to the atm machines, won't entertain me, "You can do it online ma." Said him, without even looking.

It was at ambank sg dua and its benign staff, I got my phone number changed and my insurance renewed.

Back to today, so, heart broken I drove to ambank, town, 7.9 km away, and luckily the staff there mend my broken heart.

While the public services are urged to emulate the private sector, ambank pasaraya took the other way around, ditching their private sector qualities and took the lousy public services manner of operation, sadly.

There are considerable complaints that ambank pasaraya is racist, but I don't want to go there without ample evidence, I hope who ever reading this and suffer the same fate would come out and let our voices be heard.

To whom it may concern, please pay attention to ambank, bandar pasaraya, lot 77; 78 jalan utara.

Out of oil, out of luck

I went to town yesterday. Traffic was heavy as usual. As the traffic inches up little by little, I thought to myself, with this kinda traffic how can the ineffective opposition would even think to put more cars on the road.

Lowering car and fuel prices at the same time are catastrophic. Even now with 300% duty's car and high petrol price there are more cars than motorcycle to be seen on the road everyday.

I think, the only car that should be slashed down its price is the hybrid. Hybrid car should be put more on the road due to the fact that it doesn't runs on oil completely and thus oil production is declining rapidly day by day, some predicted that by 2040 we will be out of oil completely!

Our society is oil based, We depend on fossil fuels to run our vehicles, power the industry and manufacturing, and provide us with electricity. Once oil been depleted we might revert to the 19th century, riding horses, using wood stove and sailing to cross the continent.

Bullied to do extra work -plight of teachers

Monday January 21, 2013

Bullied to do extra work

THIS is to highlight the plight of teachers who have to do the tasks of the Head of Department (Ketua Bidang) in schools in Klang. Teachers are struggling but at the same time happy to be involved in the ‘Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah’ programme since it is a good idea to move away from an exam based education.

Since the programme is still new, teachers have a lot to learn and lots of paper work that have to be completed and teachers are not complaining as this is part of the teaching and learning process.

What teachers can’t stomach is the practice of the Ketua Bidang delegating administrative jobs to teachers as well.

What happens is that the principal assigns a certain school programme to the Ketua Bidang who quickly assigns the duty to a teacher who has to prepare the proposal, the working paper, form a small committee and carry out the project.

The teacher also has to take photographs, write a report, bind it and give it to the Ketua Bidang who will then present it to the principal.

That is the only job of a Ketua Bidang – listen to the principal and direct other teachers to carry out the work and just sit in a nice air-conditioned room and wait for the report.

Teachers have been doing all the donkey work for the Ketua Bidang, but now we are so bogged down with paper work related to the PBS, that we are not able to teach at all.

The students are at the losing end and we feel sorry for them.

The Ketua Bidang’s have only five to 10 teaching periods and they can easily do all the paper work requested by the principal.

Stop bullying the poor teachers!

Right now the Ketua Bidang have so much free time that they have functions, potluck, sell cakes and batik during school hours.

There is a solution though. In some cases the Ketua Bidang have been in the school for many years and they can manipulate and control the administration.

A suggestion to the JPN is to transfer these teachers who have served more than five years in a particular school to another school.

This is done in many other districts and states so why not in Klang?

Only in Klang, teachers who are the most senior are promoted regardless of whether they can do the work or not.

Granted there are a few Ketua Bidang who are doing their work but the majority of them don’t do any work at all.

The Education Ministry is reforming the education system, therefore the Klang district education office should take the first step to reform the Ketua Bidang in secondary schools.

It should retrain these teachers and redeploy them to other schools in the district. SOON TO RETIRE TEACHER

No wife, so man rapes daughter

AFTER her mother died when she was 13, Harlina (not her real name) said her father told her he would love and care for her as she looked so much like her mum.

And then he started becoming amorous.

A few months after his wife's death, he lured her to bed and raped her, Metro Ahad reported in a special feature on young victims sexually assaulted by their own kin.

Harlina, now 19, said her mother died after giving birth to her sister, now seven.

She decided that enough was enough when her father started to also molest the younger girl.

“He had often told me that he did not want any other woman after my mother died. It was like he could not accept she was gone,” said Harlina, who has fled with her younger sister to live with her foster parents.

“I have seen him talking to himself, like he was having a conversation with my mother. He may have loved her a lot, but I became his victim.”

An aunt, in whom she confided, lodged a police report and the man is now behind bars.

“I love my father but, at the same time, I really hate him. It is difficult for me to accept what had happened,” she said, adding she could never forgive her dad for what he did to her and her sister. ~the star

That's easy, no wife so rape somebody, why with the headache yea?

Repetition can be counter productive

"Kiniku nikmati kehidupan yang selesa
Dibentuk oleh mereka yang penyayang
Hari silih ganti kami maju ke hadapan
tak kira apa jua halangan"

I swear if I heard one more round of this song, I'll not renew the current government contract to govern next GE. I heard this song umpteen times since I turn on the TV today, and I cannot continue to bear this abomination any more.

Luckily the rain steps in and save the government of the day. By this you knew i'm on Astro and astro cannot tolerate rain at the same time keep on siphoning our money mostly on rainy season.

Back to kiniku nikmati kehidupan yang selesa..

Yes its true repetition is good to familiarize your brand to the people but it can also lead to fatigue, where people become so tired and prone to tune out or actively avoid you.

Therefore, use repetition wisely as too much repetition may be counter productive.

Supermarkets hike vegetables prices 100%

Recently I bought a bunch of lemon grass, at the cashier I was took aback to find out that the price was doubled to one ninety nine whilst last year was at a humble one ringgit per bunch.

I took the liberty to visit a few grocery store around Sandakan and ascertained most of vegetables that was once one ringgit per bunch inches up to 100%, all of them sell at a whooping RM2 per bunch.

I was perplexed by this hike since I didn't heard any fuel hike anywhere. Only sugar price hike in 2013 budget. What does sugar got something to do with vegetables?

According to the store owner, it was the middleman. They increased the price due to bad weather. We should beware since raw material price increase likely food prices will follow next.

I don't know if the KDNK is aware of this hike, if they don't they have to start getting busy poking their nose now before food inflation hit the country and end up like the present Argentina.
